Survey Shows School to EasyMANALAPAN — Just 6 years old, Jack-Davis Progebin solves algebra problems, knows all the U.S. presidents and rattles off every state — in alphabetical order.

“Like, five plus five is 10 easy,” says Jack-Davis, a second-grader who’s now enrolled in enrichment classes at Kumon Math and Reading Center of Manalapan.

Jack-Davis is not alone. According to a report released this week by the Center for American Progress, millions of kids simply don’t find school very challenging.
